One of the leading magazine out their, TIME has revealed a first taste of covers who will be released for its annual TIME 100 issue. The influencer who made it to the first cut are Kanye West, ballet dancer Misty Copeland, journalist and author Jorge Ramos, actor Bradley Cooper, and Associate Justice of the Supreme Court Ruth Bader Ginsburg who will be printed on the cover, all photographed by Sebastian Kim. Other cultural influencers to make the final 100 include Kim Kardashian, director Lee Daniels, stand-up comedian Kevin Hart and actress Reese Witherspoon.
“In our annual TIME 100 issue, we tell 100 stories of individual influence. But taken together, these stories are an anthem to interaction, the convergence that occurs when a good idea goes viral. The technology that connects us also connects our worlds, of art and science and business and politics. So when we were debating whom to approach to write for this issue, we looked for people who could speak to their subject’s influence in all its dimensions,” said TIME Editor Nancy Gibbs. “Every year we hope the TIME 100 will introduce you to influential people you might not have met before and encourage you to find out more about them.”
