Precisely 7,328 days ago, the Sergio Lozano-designed Nike Air Max 95 introduced a futurist approach to running design. 20 years later, the silhouette returns in its original form for both men and women. To coincide with the 20th anniversary of Nike Air Max 95. They teamed up with web-imprint The Rig Out, and headed to London. They catch up with Novelist, an MC coming through the grime ranks and standing shoulder to shoulder with Skepta and Drake. Jetsss, an up and coming DJ playing out across the city and on NTS; Dark Sky, young producers on Ninjatune playing around the world and Ryan Hawaii, the Catford Art Dealer who hand paints clothes and is also the mastermind of Neverland Clan.
Beside the love for trainers they are all born around 1995. Hit play to see each artist talk about their work and the Nike Air Max 95 – a shoe that they all grew up with and is synonymous with London youth culture. Dark Sky wrote an original score for the film – influenced by the jungle sound of the mid 90.
