Levi’s taps Patta to release a special collaboration for Fall 2015. The collection is inspired by Hip-Hop music from the early 90s, most notably EPMD & N.W.A. Pieces exude an aura of tradition and prestige, while at the same time offering subtle new takes and understated updates to create a modern day street uniform from a Patta perspective. Sources of inspiration range from 40s zoot suits to 90s Hip-Hop, all the way up to today’s daily streetwear, emulating styles from the past to inspire the aesthetic of tomorrow.
Included in the Levi’s® X Patta collection are Levi’s® iconic 501® jeans updated with the newly launched custom tapered leg fit known as the 501®CT, the renowned classic western shirt, and the iconic Trucker denim jacket. The collection is further complemented with modern day classics, such as the fishtail parka and the coach jacket. The jackets have been processed with custom acid washes in blue and black dyes, and all items feature a co-branded two-horse pull back patch. The Levi’s® X Patta collection is completed with custom 5-panel mesh camp hats in two colors, and Patta’s signature waist bag constructed in premium leather. The collection consists of two deliveries, the first being a black acid washed collection, the second, an acid washed indigo collection.
The first drop is sett for 5 September at Patta and Hanon, Scotland; Hip, UK; Slamjam, Italy; Beams T, Japan; and Undefeated, Los Angeles.
