You would almost think that Nike is running out of ideas, by pulling out old models and release them again. But lets be honest, we’re happy that Nike brings out some of their classics – like the Nike Air Max BW “Persian”. The shoe worn by almost every cool subculture kids back in the days.
Originally released back in 1991 as part of the Nike International series, the Air Max BW features the iconic bubble heel. Since its debut, the silhouette has been re-released in multiple colourways over the years, with the staunch OG Persian Violet edition remaining as the models signature scheme.
The runner features a synthetic Nubuck upper with a white leather trim wrapping around the whole model. Persian violet accents are seen on the Nylon mesh tongue, iconic Swoosh, lining and heel tab. Nike branding is integrated into the heel and outsole with a clear visible air Nike bubble unit.
