Last week we shared a sneak preview of the upcoming collab between KangaROOS and Dutch sneaker store Premium Store in Nijmegen. Today we are able to show you the official photo of the results, including the story behind the sneaker.

The colors used on the KangaROOS sneakers are also the colors of the city Nijmegen (where the shop Premium Store is located) and of the local professional Football club NEC. This was an opportunity for the Premium Store which they really needed to grab, and so they did. They contacted one of the professional soccer players from NEC (until a few months back he was player of NEC, now he is a player of Ajax), Lasse Schöne. He is a regular visitor at their shop so they immediately wanted to involve him in the plan as well.

The sneaker features a special label on the tongue, a green insole and leather laces. Only 25 pairs are made and the sneaker is part of a pack which features also a matching t-shirt and a football.

The release date is set on the 2nd of August and it will be an in-store release only. Lasse Schöne will be attending the release to sign some sneakers for the ones who are interested. The shop opens at 10.30 AM so be there on time.
